Caden is growing so fast!

Thanks Adelphia/Comcast for hooking me up!!

Last night my home Internet service was interrupted at around midnight. I have Adelphia, soon to be Comcast, so I called Tech Support to report that it was down and there was a nice automated message stating that they were performing network upgrades/maintenance. I was kinda pissed because when it went out I had just tried to read an email in gmail and it wouldn't load the email...I was left hanging. I logged into my Cable Modem's Diagnostics to see what was going on and it said there were 5 stages there were being upgraded, and it was on stage 1 of 5. Eventually Stage 2 through 5 were complete about an hour or two later and I must say I am no longer mad at them.

I was back on the internet, and I noticed it was a lot faster...way too fast. Somehow I was upgraded to a 3MBps(24Mbps) download speed. Holy Cow!! Has this happened to anyone else?? I live in Frederick, MD. Check the screenshot from my bandwidth test...
Normally my speeds are around 3-4 Mbps download stream so 3MBps is a huge leap. So right now I'm looking at more than Half of a DS3/T3 line. Thank you Adelphia/Comcast gods...I will be happy to send you a check this month. Hopefully it wont change anytime soon.

Here is a second test I did with Azureus. I tried to see how high I could get the download rate with a bunch of diggnation torrents downloading. I was able to get up to over 1.5 MBps. I still can't believe the speeds I'm getting.
